School Age Educator

The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario seeks passionate site supervisors and school age educators to provide care and structured activities for elementary-age children. This role involves planning, delivering child-centered lessons, and supporting families. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with shifts available Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging programs for children aged 4-12

• Ensure a safe and supervised environment at all times

• Provide compassionate support to children and families

• Commit to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging

• Embody the YMCA’s core values in daily interactions

Requirements:

• Experience with children aged 4-12 is an asset

• Enrollment or diploma in Early Childhood Education preferred

• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification

• Current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
