Position: Temporary Library Supervisor at L.K.C.S.

Lead the school library operations as a Temporary Library Supervisor at L.K.C.S., starting September 3, 2026. This role focuses on supervision, collection management, and user services.

As the Library Supervisor, you'll report directly to the Principal, overseeing the functionality of the school library. You’ll organize and maintain library collections and facilitate advisory services for students and staff. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in library practices, excellent supervision skills, and a proven ability to enhance library services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily library operations and staff

• Develop and maintain library collections and resources

• Assist students and staff with reference and circulation services

• Communicate effectively to enhance library interaction

• Ensure positive collaboration within the school community

Requirements:

• Minimum post-secondary education in a library discipline

• Proven experience in library supervision and operations

• Strong leadership, organization, and administrative skills

• Proficiency in Follett Library System and technology

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork
