Hospitality Teacher

Position: Permanent Hospitality Teacher
Shape future hospitality leaders as a Permanent Secondary Teacher at Ursuline College in Chatham. This part-time role begins on September 1, 2026, focusing on student engagement in Tourism.
To qualify, candidates must possess a Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers and have senior qualifications in the subject area. A minimum of one satisfactory long-term occasional teaching assignment is necessary. This educator will play a vital role in mentoring students interested in Hospitality & Tourism careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach essential Hospitality & Tourism subjects

• Create a supportive learning environment

• Monitor and evaluate student performance

• Work closely with school staff and Principal Lisa Harnarine

• Implement curriculum effectively and creatively
Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification

• Senior and Intermediate qualifications in subject matter

• At least one long-term occasional teaching experience

• Strong teaching and communication skills

• Mandatory police record check required for employment
Contribute to the development of aspiring hospitality professionals at Ursuline College in Chatham.
