Drive improvements in plastic injection molding as a Plant Process Engineer at MAHLE in Tilbury. Your expertise will be key in optimizing processes and mentoring technicians.
As a Plant Process Engineer, you will oversee and refine production processes while reporting to the Production Manager. You'll collaborate closely with Process Technicians, ensuring that operations run smoothly and quality standards are met.
Your role will encompass troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize injection molding processes and troubleshoot issues
• Supervise Process Technicians and manage activities
• Develop new tooling and machine parameters
• Conduct training for enhanced operational efficiency
• Maintain a preventative maintenance system
Requirements:
• Community college diploma in relevant field
• 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing
• Supervisory experience preferred in a unionized context
• Technical skills in molding and equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP software
