Chatham-Kent PUC seeks a dedicated Operator to ensure compliant and reliable water and wastewater services. Responsibilities involve daily inspections, maintaining treatment systems, and conducting essential sampling. You will be a key player in maintaining operational documentation and complying with various environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections of treatment facilities and operations

• Operate treatment equipment per environmental standards

• Manage sampling and analytical tests for compliance

• Maintain inventory of operational supplies and chemicals

• Follow safety protocols and maintain facility security

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or demonstrated equivalent required

• Previous Operator experience in water treatment preferred

• Class G Ontario driver’s license necessary

• MECP certification for Water and Wastewater is required

• Proficient in SCADA and Microsoft Office applications
