Home Care Occupational Therapist

Deliver occupational therapy in Chatham-Kent home care, using assessment and treatment skills to support clients’ goals and independence. Work casually as an independent contractor.

Bayshore Therapy & Rehab seeks an Occupational Therapist for Chatham-Kent, Ontario, and surrounding areas. Under rehabilitation management direction, you will assess clients, provide treatment, educate clients and care providers, and manage occupational therapy interventions. The work includes in-home assessments and treatments.

• Assess clients and establish individualized treatment programs
• Evaluate and revise goals, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate clinical records meeting professional standards
• Collaborate with other health team members as needed
• Educate clients and care providers on treatment strategies

• Master’s degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Registration and good standing with provincial occupational therapy college
• At least two years’ occupational therapy experience preferred
• Experience with in-home assessments and treatments
• Auto insurance and medical-legal report writing knowledge is an asset
