MES Specialist

One of our manufacturing clients in Chatham, ON is seeking a skilled MES Specialist for their facility.

Shift – Days

Pay rate – $85k-$115k

• Configure, implement, and support MES applications to align with production and operational requirements
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous system availability and reliability
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams to optimize workflows and system functionality
• Integrate MES with ERP systems, PLCs, and other manufacturing technologies
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools to support decision‑making
• Provide user support, training, and documentation for MES‑related processes
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and validation activities
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through system enhancements and automation

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• MES experience is a must
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing systems, automation, or IT within an industrial environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
• Experience with system integrations (ERP, PLCs, databases, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is an asset
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
