Position: IT Security Services Coordinator Opportunity
Join the Chatham Regional Education Centre as the Coordinator of IT Security Services, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of IT systems. This permanent position involves proactive security measures and incident response activities.

Reporting to the Supervisor of IT Security Services, the Coordinator provides essential security support for all IT infrastructure. With significant experience in enterprise IT security, you will manage investigations and align activities with board policies.

Your role will include developing security protocols and providing technical training to enhance security awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough IT security investigations and audits

• Recommend mitigation strategies against evolving threats

• Develop and refine security policies and procedures

• Monitor the ongoing security posture of IT systems

• Provide security training to both end users and technical staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer studies or related field

• Minimum four years of experience in IT security

• CISSP certification highly desirable

• Experience with SIEM, XDR, and SOAR platforms

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
