IT Security Services Coordinator

Position: IT Security Services Coordinator Role
Take charge of IT security at the Chatham Regional Education Centre as the Coordinator of IT Security Services. This permanent opportunity focuses on protecting IT infrastructure and data integrity.

In this critical role, reporting to the Supervisor of IT Security Services, you'll oversee comprehensive security supports and conduct investigations to ensure compliance with established policies. You'll proactively incorporate security measures into existing systems while developing and implementing mitigation strategies against potential threats. Training end users and technical staff to bolster security awareness will also be key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations related to IT system security

• Develop and refine policies and protocols for security

• Monitor the threat landscape and recommend strategies

• Facilitate security awareness training for staff

• Ensure ongoing security compliance through audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT

• Minimum of four years in enterprise IT security

• Additional certifications like CISSP, CCNA/CCNP are an asset

• Experience with XDR and SIEM tools

• Strong analytical and communication abilities
