Become the Assistant Resident Manager in Chatham, ON, and oversee the daily operations of apartment buildings with a focus on property maintenance and tenant relations. This full-time role requires cleaning, light maintenance, and excellent customer service skills.
As an Assistant Resident Manager, you’ll manage tasks across several key areas, ensuring tenant satisfaction and maintaining property standards. Your responsibilities will include cleaning common areas, assisting with unit turnover, and handling essential administrative duties. A rotating schedule with weekends and on-call availability will be vital, as well as the ability to lift and carry heavy items during maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly clean and maintain common areas
• Assist in unit cleaning after tenant move-outs
• Perform outdoor seasonal maintenance
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants
Requirements:
• High School diploma or 3 years cleaning experience
• Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of industry standards and legislation
• Ability to lift 50lbs and go up and down stairs
