Location: Tilbury
Lead environmental operations as an Operations Manager at Republic Services in Canada. Oversee waste management and ensure compliance and safety across all facilities and services in the region.
As an Operations Manager, you will direct hazardous waste processing, transportation, and facility logistics while upholding operational excellence in a high-compliance industry. Your leadership will also enhance service delivery to industrial, commercial, and government clients, ensuring safety and regulatory adherence in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead hazardous waste management and service operations
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations
• Manage facility staffing, training, and logistics coordination
• Drive accountability for safety, quality, and operational metrics
• Monitor expenses and capital investments for efficiency
Requirements:
• 5+ years of operations leadership in environmental services
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste regulations
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams
• Expertise in budget management and operational improvement
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
