Job PurposeThe Inspector independently manages advanced part handling and inspection tasks, focusing on coating lines and ensuring comprehensive quality control with minimal supervision.
Duties- Perform advanced production inspections and quality checks for painted parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Handle complex rework tasks precisely, resolving defects and ensuring corrective actions meet quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate and efficient workflow documentation, including production counts, quality records, and process tracking.
- Mentor and train less experienced general labourers, providing hands‑on guidance to improve skills, efficiency, and process adherence.
- Lead process‑optimization efforts, identifying areas for improvement in material handling, sequencing, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Verify and adjust part sequencing and spacing to maintain smooth production flow.
- Oversee and ensure packaging accuracy, verifying that final products meet quantity, labelling, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or general labour role (internal promotion or equivalent external experience).
- Advanced knowledge of finishing processes, including paint applications, inspections, and quality standards.
- Ability to perform advanced quality checks and ensure compliance with production specifications.
- Skilled in handling complex rework tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Strong documentation skills for tracking workflow, quality, and production metrics.
- Experience in mentoring or training less experienced team members preferred.
- Industrial environment with exposure to paint, solvents, and machinery noise.
- PPE compliance required (gloves, goggles, steel‑toed boots).
