Step into the role of Heat Treat Technician, specializing in the SECO / ECM furnace operations and die management. This role emphasizes safety and precision in tasks.
In-house training will prepare you to operate the SECO / ECM furnace, focusing on building die loads and conducting hardness tests. You will be responsible for transporting dies and ensuring their proper preparation for heat treating. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and readiness to work overtime are essential in this position. Basic math skills will support your accuracy in this hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate SECO / ECM furnace safely
• Build loads using weight and height specifications
• Test and verify hardness of dies
• Transport dies and manage queues effectively
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes
Requirements:
• Basic math skills required
• Willingness to learn and adapt in-house
• Reliable transportation to site needed
• Strong punctuality and work ethic
• Adherence to PPE safety protocols
Contribute to a crucial process focusing on heat treating and safety in the manufacturing environment.
