Part Time NSWOC Nurse

Enhance patient care as a part time Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC) with Para Med in Chatham, Ontario. Provide critical assessments and management in community nursing.

In this community role, you will work with Para Med's dedicated health care team to deliver advanced wound, ostomy, and continence care. Your responsibilities include direct patient care, team education, and consultation support. Enjoy work-life balance with flexible scheduling that includes weekends off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for wound, ostomy, and continence management

• Educate patients, families, and team members on care practices

• Offer consultation to Para Med's nursing team, both direct and remote

• Participate in clinical leadership for best practices

• Preceptor for other Para Med nurses as needed

Requirements:

• Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Certification

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in community nursing

• Current registration with the NSWOC Canada preferred

• Completion of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course considered

• Strong commitment to evidence-based practices
