As a Registered Practical Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will perform professional nursing responsibilities according to the standards set by the College of Nurses. This includes coordinating care, supervising nursing staff, and executing delegated tasks, all while ensuring accurate documentation. You'll also facilitate orientation for new team members and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care following established care plans

• Coordinate care in a multidisciplinary team setting

• Supervise designated nursing personnel

• Ensure efficient management of supplies and equipment

• Participate in assigned committees for quality care

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to act as Charge Nurse when needed

• Commitment to ongoing education and development
