Part-Time Palliative Care Nurse Kent

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a certification to practice in Ontario and at least two years of chemotherapy administration experience. Ideally, candidates will have a BScN and possess certifications in intravenous line initiation and fibrinolytic therapy. Your knowledge of the Cancer Care system and palliative care practices will enhance patient support during this temporary role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized palliative care to patients
• Administer chemotherapy and manage intravenous lines
• Maintain clinical expertise with central venous access devices
• Document patient progress and care activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Current RN certificate of competence in Ontario
• BScN preferred
• 2 years recent experience in chemotherapy administration
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Successful completion of Palliative Care:
The Fundamentals
