This community nursing role provides you with autonomy and the chance to develop long-term relationships with patients. As a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence, you will work alongside a supportive team to enhance patient care through both direct assessment and education. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care for wound, ostomy, and continence management
• Educate patients and Para Med nursing team on best practices
• Offer consultation and support to nursing staff
• Participate in clinical leadership in wound care
• Collaborate with stakeholders in care transitions
Requirements:
• Current NSWOC certification required
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in community settings
• Registration with Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada preferred
• IIWCC certification considered an asset
• Passion for improving patient outcomes in homecare
