As a Nurse Practitioner, you will take charge of emergency care for elderly patients while drawing upon your five years in geriatric nursing and two years in emergency nursing. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree and relevant certifications, ensuring high standards of care in a busy hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver critical care to elderly patients under emergency conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments and treatment plans
• Work alongside professionals to improve patient care strategies
• Lead program planning and implementation for geriatric services
• Ensure effective patient communication and documentation
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class
• Minimum 5 years in geriatric nursing or equivalent
• At least 2 years in emergency nursing expertise
• Certification in Gerontological Nursing preferred
• Proven ability to perform under pressure
