As a Registered Practical Nurse with Extendicare, you’ll be instrumental in developing care plans tailored to resident needs. You'll lead by example, supervising personal care staff and aiding in their training. Strong communication and time management abilities are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement individualized resident care plans

• Supervise and mentor personal care staff during shifts

• Support the training of new team members

Requirements:

• Valid registration with provincial College of Nurses

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Competence in care coordination and customer focus

• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office

• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 3 months)
