Use advanced wound, ostomy, and continence expertise during flexible homecare visits throughout Chatham Kent as a casual NSWOC Registered Nurse.
Para Med seeks a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence for community nursing visits. Provide direct care, consultation, education, and clinical support to patients, families, and Para Med’s nursing health care team. Follow evidence-based practices and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, manage, and care for wound, ostomy, and continence needs
- Educate patients, families, and Para Med nursing health care teams
- Provide clinical consultation and specialty product recommendations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Precept Para Med nurses and participate in clinical leadership
- Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence qualification
- Minimum two years practicing Registered Nurse experience
- Community or wound, ostomy, and continence care experience preferred
- International Interprofessional Wound Care Course may be considered
- Current Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence Canada registration preferred
