Job Description
Main Objectives / Basic Function:
Reporting to the Director of Quality, the MRO Quality Specialist will be responsible to ensure that maintenance procedures and operations adhere to industry standards and regulations. They will oversee quality assurance programs, conduct audits, and investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. The Quality Specialist validates the organization's quality assurance and ensures staff are technically qualified based on regulations;
this includes validation of shop floor training.
- Validate the onboarding training process for shop floor to ensure consistency and alignment to the expected standards
- Report monthly on internal non-quality events and the associated root cause / corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrence
- Monitor and measure quality performance:
Track key metrics related to customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. - Lead resolution of MRO technical events and/or customer escapes. Ensure timely and effective investigation and closure of all found non-conformances or letters of disclosure (using 8D methodology, root cause corrective action and failure analysis reports)
- Support the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) in annual reporting and renewal process with authorities
- Manage Quality documents and records control:
Ensure accurate and secure documentation of all maintenance activities. - Review, audit and revise existing quality procedures in accordance with the update frequency
- Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions:
Identify and address non-compliance issues in a timely manner. - Collaborate with other departments:
Work closely with operations, maintenance, and other functional areas to ensure compliance and meet regulatory requirements. - Understand and comply with regulatory requirements:
Keep abreast of changes in aviation regulations and ensure compliance. - Communicate effectively:
Clearly and concisely communicate quality standards and procedures to all stakeholders. - Ensure safe operational practices:
Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely and according to established procedures. - Attend Level 1 QRQCs and support the RPO process with Safran tools and techniques
