Grocery Clerk - PT Kent

Position Title: Grocery Clerk – Part Time (permanent)
Wage: Starts at $16.60 per hour, adjustable within wage scale per collective agreement.
Unionized: Part of a unionized bargaining unit.

Support Food Basics by delivering excellent customer service, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store standards. This role is essential to ensuring customers find products in stock and in good condition.

• Assist customers with product selection and purchases.
• Stock shelves, arrange displays, and keep inventory organized.
• Maintain product knowledge and attention to detail to ensure high standards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Work adaptable shift schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned to meet business objectives.

• Customer‑service driven.
• Experience stocking merchandise and creating displays.
• Good product knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
