Salary: $63,606

Assist the Security Manager in managing the Security department and personnel, complying with the Provincial Gaming Commission and applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Provide good public relations with patrons and employees. Comply with safety and security standards of the corporation while orientating staff to operations and adhering to internal control procedures. Oversee the day‑to‑day administration and management of security supervisors and staff.

• Protect the corporation's assets by monitoring all operations and gaming activities throughout the facility.
• Oversee investigations of major occurrences (e.g., minors gaining entry, criminal acts on company property, breaches of integrity).
• Respond to escalated patron complaints and major incidents such as fire alarms, bomb threats, and evacuation procedures in accordance with department policies.
• Ensure files and records (e.g., key logs, visitor passes) are accounted for per Security Department policies.
• Monitor training strategies for supervisors and staff, ensuring technical, customer‑service, and succession training is provided.
• Manage department scheduling, time‑off requests, payroll reconciliation, and attendance. Assist in budgeting by monitoring overtime, scheduled hours and operating expenses.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; enforce safety procedures, required equipment, lifting techniques, and identify unsafe practices.

• College diploma or equivalent in Law and Security, Law and Justice, Criminology or a related field.
• Completion of a management‑training program.
• Three (3) or more years of managerial experience in gaming or a related field.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and managerial skills.
