Start early with UPS as a part-time Package Handler sorting postal codes and loading delivery vehicles in Chatham, Ontario. Physical warehouse work begins at 4:30am.
This permanent Early Morning Warehouse Associate position operates Monday through Friday. You will sort, stock, load, and unload packages while learning UPS handling methods. The schedule runs three to five hours daily, with flexibility required for start and finish times.
Key Responsibilities:- Load packages into UPS delivery vehicles and trailers
- Unload packages from vehicles and trailers
- Sort packages according to postal codes
- Stock packages within the warehouse environment
- Execute established UPS package handling methods properly
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Availability Monday through Friday, all five days
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes
- Comfort working in physically demanding conditions
- Comfort working inside trailers and delivery vehicles
