Job Overview

How would you like to be part of an enthusiastic, fast‑paced, friendly team while making a difference to the children and young people of Medway? We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the CSWT Business Support Team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide complete and comprehensive administration support, handling telephone and other queries.
  • Arrange and minute meetings, ensuring accurate records are produced within required timescales.
  • Deliver administrative support to multiple teams, taking high‑quality minutes.
  • Work cooperatively as part of a team and independently to meet service demands.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience providing comprehensive administrative support to multiple teams.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience taking high‑quality minutes.

Career Progression

Career Progression Frameworks (CPF) are available for all Medway Council roles. Salary is at level A, with opportunities to progress to B or C based on CPF assessment. Ongoing development is supported through induction, probation, performance appraisal, and career conversations.
