Job Overview

Responsibilities- Provide complete and comprehensive administration support, handling telephone and other queries.
- Arrange and minute meetings, ensuring accurate records are produced within required timescales.
- Deliver administrative support to multiple teams, taking high‑quality minutes.
- Work cooperatively as part of a team and independently to meet service demands.
- Education:
GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths. - NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Experience providing comprehensive administrative support to multiple teams.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience taking high‑quality minutes.

Career Progression Frameworks (CPF) are available for all Medway Council roles. Salary is at level A, with opportunities to progress to B or C based on CPF assessment. Ongoing development is supported through induction, probation, performance appraisal, and career conversations.
