The successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in maintaining and modifying high-performance vehicles and race cars, contributing to a passionate team committed to quality and precision.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum, with OTE reaching approximately £43,000 per year
Opportunity to work with prestigious performance and race cars including Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini
Paid overtime for race weekends and travel, with fully covered expenses for events at Spa, Nürburgring and more
Long-term, family-run business providing a relaxed and supportive working environment
No regular weekends; approximately 10 race weekends annually (April to September)
Additional benefits include paid travel and overtime for race events, with a flexible approach to race weekend participation
Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining high-performance and race cars including Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini
Race preparation, modifications, upgrades and performance enhancements
Conducting complex jobs such as cambelts, clutch replacements, gearboxes and engine removals independently
Interior work, including re-trimming seats, dashboards and head linings, as well as fitting stereos and trim upgrades
Working with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Assisting in race weekend activities, potentially including race car transportation and setup (negotiable)
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Master Technician or Vehicle Technician, preferably within performance, race or motor sport sectors
Confident to work independently and capable of managing complex tasks with minimal input
Possession of own comprehensive set of tools to facilitate timely and efficient work
Background in high-end or performance vehicles, race cars or supercars is highly desirable
Strong mechanical skills, with experience in cambelts, clutches, gearboxes and engine work
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
Flexible and open to opportunities for race weekend travel and performance projects
