As a Scheduler, you'll play a vital role within our dynamic and supportive team, helping to deliver exceptional service to our clients. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient staff schedules, ensuring every site is consistently resourced with suitably trained security officers. You'll also coordinate annual leave and absence cover, ensuring continuity of service while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Chatham Headquarters, Chatham Dockyard, Kent
Salary: £31,000 per annum (up to depending on experience)
Shift pattern:
Monday - Friday Days Rotating 7am - 2pm & 11am - 7pm, 37.5 hours per week
- Set up sites on Timegate (scheduling system) with all relevant operational information required to base roster sites and other information.
- Provide necessary data for other support departments.
- Schedule appropriately trained core officers within the live roster scenario.
- Keep relief officer spreadsheets organised, up to date and managed to reflect Timegate rostering.
- Ensure training content reflects the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Sourcing and allocating operational cover in the event of absences across the security portfolio as/when necessary.
- Respond to queries from clients and officers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure service excellence to internal and external clients.
- Liaise regularly with HR to communicate sites that have recruitment needs or long-term sick issues reducing the relief options for annual leave or absence.
- Collate annual leave requests and provide responses utilising the company systems/tools and trained relief officers available to approve, where possible, within the company annual leave policy and holiday budgets provided.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- Patience and clear communication to all officers, managers and where necessary, clients.
- Proven problem‑solving skills; ability to visualise a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected changes.
