About The Role

Looking for a teaching role that offers flexibility? Then this could be for you:

New Horizons Children’s Academy are seeking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a part time basis for up to 20 hours per week, with the option to be flexible for the right candidate.

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to work alongside our SENDCo, delivering outstanding support and education to our incredible students!

You’ll be part of a team that’s committed to providing the best learning experience for students with SEND. You’ll work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies, ensuring every student gets the support they need to thrive. Your strong subject knowledge across English, Maths, and SEND‑specific strategies will help shape the future of our students!

What You’ll Bring :
  • A strong passion for SEND and making learning accessible for all students.
  • The ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual needs.
  • A flair for positive behaviour management.
  • A collaborative, team‑player attitude.
  • QTS is essential - primary qualified desirable.

About Us

New Horizons Children's Academy is a "Good" school (Ofsted May 2022) with a three‑form entry that teaches over 600 children from the local community.
