About the Role
We are seeking dedicated 1:1 English & Maths Support Assistants to support pupils who need additional help with core subjects.
You'll provide focused, tailored support to help students develop confidence, improve essential skills and progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one support in English and/or Maths
- Breaking learning tasks into manageable steps
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy and general classwork
- Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff
- Motivating learners and promoting positive behaviour
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong English and/or Maths skills
- Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
