As a PPA Cover Teacher working with Tailor

EDucation, you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff by delivering planned lessons during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment, ensuring pupils continue to make progress while their class teacher is unavailable. Flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.

You will work across a variety of primary schools in Kent and Medway, all known for their supportive leadership teams, inclusive ethos, and commitment to pupil development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification (essential)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with a focus on maintaining continuity of learning
