Reception Teacher September 2026 Start Chatham, Kent | Full-Time | Permanent Position A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring start to children's education.

The Role:

Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues Contributing positively to the wider school community Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception is desirable Strong understanding of the EYFS framework Excellent classroom management and communication skills Passion for early years education and child development Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
