About The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Leader at New Horizons Children’s Academy to stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. A willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions is essential.

Hours

11.30 – 13.00 or 11.50 – 13.20, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will supervise pupils outside in the dining areas, ensuring good standards of behaviour by following the School’s Behaviour Management Policy. The Lunchtime Play leader will assist with associated ancillary duties (such as cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc.), provide welfare support to the pupils, undertake first aid duties (depending on training) and will ensure School security regulations are upheld.

Duties

At the discretion of the school, the Lunchtime Play leader may be required to work between 1–5 INSET days per academic year to complete additional training and safeguarding updates, which may sometimes be outside of school hours.
