Overview

We wish to appoint a highly motivated teacher who is passionate about making a difference to children’s lives for KS1 from September 2026. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team in our friendly one form entry Catholic Primary School. We are situated within wonderful grounds, including a large field and Eco-garden to facilitate excellent outside learning for our wonderful children.

St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Primary School is a busy, happy hive of activity for pupils. There is always something going on to interest and inform them.

This school is committed to recruiting with care and safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safeguarding vetting procedures will be undertaken including a Disclosing and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check and two references will be required.

Candidates will be subject to an online search if shortlisted. The search will not form part of the shortlisting process itself and shortlisted candidates will have the chance to address any issues of concern that come up during the search at interview.
