Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school based in Chatham. The school provides a supportive learning environment for children with Autism / ASD, with a strong focus on helping pupils engage with their education and achieve their individual learning goals.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and presenting engaging lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs and supporting children with their academic and personal development.

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, specifically Autism / ASD
• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Strong classroom management skills
• A patient and adaptable approach
• A commitment to supporting pupils with their learning and development
