Volunteer Placement with Career Development Opportunities About the Role1408 Game Studio is looking for a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Assistant to help grow our online presence and engage with our gaming community. You’ll be working collaboratively on a live psychological tactical shooter horror game, contributing to a real development project currently in production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in the games industry while building a professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Create and schedule engaging social media content across multiple platforms
- Assist with community engagement and audience growth
- Support marketing campaigns and game announcements
- Capture and edit screenshots, videos, and development updates
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and designers to showcase the game's progress
- Help build and maintain a strong brand presence for the studio
- Hands‑on experience in a real game studio environment
- Mentorship and guidance from an active development team
- Opportunity to build a strong portfolio with a shipped and released game
- Experience working within production pipelines and milestones
- Potential progression to paid part‑time or full‑time contract roles
