THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and technical support to financial advisers, helping ensure clients receive a seamless and professional experience throughout their financial planning journey.

Your responsibilities will cover everything from setting up new client accounts and managing applications to preparing for annual reviews and maintaining accurate records. You’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the business, with opportunities to share your experience, support colleagues and continue developing your own professional skills.

If you enjoy a varied role where attention to detail, teamwork and excellent client service are equally important, this could be the ideal next move for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build strong working relationships with clients and advisers, acting as a reliable point of contact and providing prompt, professional support.

* New Business Administration:
Oversee new business submissions from start to finish, ensuring applications are processed efficiently and accurately.

* Review Coordination:
Arrange annual client reviews, prepare relevant documentation, manage adviser diaries and coordinate meeting schedules.

* Data Management and Compliance:
Maintain accurate client information, investment records and product applications in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

* Financial Planning Support:
Gather and organise information relating to pensions, ISAs, general investment accounts (GIAs) and protection policies.

* Reports and Calculations:
Work closely with advisers and paraplanners to assist with suitability reports, client review documentation and relevant tax and technical calculations.

* Investment Processing:
Process client paperwork, investment instructions and fund switches, ensuring all transactions are handled correctly and promptly.

* Regulatory Standards:
Keep client files up to date and ensure records meet KYC, AML, GDPR and FCA requirements.

* Team Development:
Provide guidance to junior administrators, contribute to peer reviews and help maintain high standards across the administration team.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this position, you’ll ideally have:

* A minimum of two years’ experience within an independent financial advice, financial planning or wealth management business.

* A good working knowledge of financial planning products, administrative procedures and regulatory requirements.

* Confidence using Microsoft Office and financial planning administration systems.

* The RO1 and/or CF1 qualification, or a willingness to work towards the relevant qualification with our support.

* Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with numerical and written information.

* A professional, enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

* A collaborative approach and the confidence to share knowledge and support less experienced colleagues.

WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?

You’ll become part of a supportive and professional team where your contribution is recognised and valued. We understand that effective administration is fundamental to delivering excellent financial advice, and we’re committed to creating an environment where our people can thrive.

This position offers the opportunity to take greater ownership of your work, build on your existing expertise and make a meaningful contribution to both the team and the clients we serve.
