Personal Assistant

Looking for a female self-employed PA to provide support in the Walderslade area to provide sit‑in support for an 80‑year‑old lady with dementia. A PA is required to provide company and support for 4 hours per week (days and times to be discussed with the client), enabling her main carer and daughter the opportunity for some very much needed respite from her caring role.

• Provide company and support for 4 hours per week.
• Encourage and prompt eating, drinking, mobilisation and personal hygiene.
• Offer a degree of personal care, including continence care when required.
• Assist with light domestic tasks as needed within a lively and active family household.
• Encourage mobilisation out in the community when possible; holding a driving licence is preferred but not essential.

• Female self‑employed PA.
• Patient, empathetic and cheerful with good motivational skills.
• Good communication;
  Punjabi language skills are desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check and references required.
• Driving licence preferred for community mobilisation.
