Underwriting Assistant

Location: Brompton

We are delighted to be working exclusively in partnership with a successful and reputable insurance agency based in Witney, who are looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join their professional, friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.

The Role As an Underwriting Assistant, you will work closely with the underwriting team, providing support across a variety of activities, including:
Assisting with new business and renewal enquiries Supporting the team with mid-policy changes and adjustments Providing general administrative and office support Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure enquiries and tasks are dealt with efficiently We are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and enjoys working as part of a busy and dynamic team.

You will ideally have:
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Good IT skills and numeracy Previous administration experience A positive and proactive approach to work Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Previous insurance experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This role would suit someone who is keen to develop their knowledge and establish a career within the insurance sector.
