Retail Security Officer

Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

• Current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence may be provided in some circumstances)
• Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or termination of employment.

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service
• Deterrence of violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the store management teams
• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships where required to foster partnership and support reduction of crime in store
• Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
