Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at our Chatham, United States location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations and manage staff during assigned shifts
  • Interact professionally with employees and customers to maintain a positive work environment
  • Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately
  • Answer phones and process customer orders efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Assist in training and supervising team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performance
  • Resolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control
  • Participate in implementing marketing initiatives and promotions
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a retail or food service management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in basic math and cash handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Additional Information
  • Experience leading a team; manage staff from 3 to 30 people, motivating them to perform effectively.
  • A clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Need reliable vehicle with driver’s license.

  • Stores open 365 days a week; schedule flexible but must work when the team needs you most.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
