Lead Medical Assistant - Pediatrics Chatham, NJ; West of Newark

Position Overview: Health Plus Staffing is partnering with a respected Pediatrics clinic in Chatham, NJ, to find a dedicated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a background in Pediatrics, especially in a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of 4 Medical Assistants, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.
• Assist 5 Pediatricians in delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including a significant number of patients on the spectrum.
• Perform clinical duties, including patient intake, vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with the clinic's administrative and clinical staff to enhance patient experience and care delivery.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatrics.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric care, especially for patients on the spectrum.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Schedule:

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
• Typical hours:
  Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays until 6:30 PM).
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Flexibility is required to meet the clinic's needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour, with flexibility for the right candidate.
