Position Overview: Health Plus Staffing is partnering with a respected Pediatrics clinic in Chatham, NJ, to find a dedicated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a background in Pediatrics, especially in a leadership capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of 4 Medical Assistants, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Assist 5 Pediatricians in delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including a significant number of patients on the spectrum.
- Perform clinical duties, including patient intake, vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
- Collaborate with the clinic's administrative and clinical staff to enhance patient experience and care delivery.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatrics.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric care, especially for patients on the spectrum.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Schedule:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Typical hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays until 6:30 PM). - Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Flexibility is required to meet the clinic's needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour, with flexibility for the right candidate.
