Design & Development- Lead the design and development of structural packaging and retail display solutions (POP, corrugated, folding carton, etc.)
- Create innovative, functional, and cost-effective designs that meet client specifications and brand standards
- Develop detailed CAD drawings, dielines, and prototypes for production
- Create and optimize production layouts, including combo runs and layout jobs, to maximize efficiency, material utilization, and production output
- Ensure all designs are optimized for manufacturability, material efficiency, and structural integrity
- Ensure all designs align with production capabilities and timelines
- Troubleshoot design and production challenges as they arise
- Oversee sample development and ensure prototypes meet expectations
- Partner closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Clients to translate concepts into structural solutions
- Support client presentations, including explaining structural concepts and design intent
- 5-10+ years of experience in structural design within the packaging, displays, or print industry
- Proven experience designing retail displays (POP/POS) and corrugated packaging
- Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, Adobe Suite or similar)
- Strong understanding of materials (corrugated, paperboard, etc.)
- Knowledge of printing and manufacturing processes
