Mfg Line Mechanic

A growing manufacturing company in Chatsworth, CA is hiring multiple Line Mechanics to support high-speed production and packaging operations. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with a strong background in food, beverage, alcohol, personal care, cosmetics, or similar consumer packaged goods manufacturing environments

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, scheduled maintenance, rebuilds, and mechanical repairs.
• Complete line setups, equipment changeovers, and adjustments for production runs.
• Support high-speed manufacturing operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Follow GMP, Lockout/Tagout
  , and workplace safety procedures.
• Partner with production teams to identify equipment issues and improve line performance.

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical rebuilds, and scheduled repairs.
• Complete equipment changeovers, line setups, and production support.
• Maintain safe operations by following GMP and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• 5+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
  .
• Experience in food, beverage, alcohol, personal care, cosmetics, or similar production environments
  .
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting
  .
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, and line changeovers.
• Ability to work effectively with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, reliability, and equipment performance.
• Experience with liquid fillers, rotary fillers, inline fillers, cappers, crimpers, labeling machines, conveyors, pumps, inkjet coders, and related packaging equipment
  .
• Background supporting high-speed production or packaging lines in consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
• Ability to identify recurring equipment issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
