Overview

Full Charge Bookkeeper role at DEVNET Incorporated. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to manage all non-CPA accounting tasks, with a focus on investments, budgets, and fixed government contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and investment accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
  • Assist with the preparation and management of budgets, with a focus on fixed government contracts
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve financial operations
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, such as accrual accounting, depreciation, and amortization
  • Experience with handling investments and managing budgets
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
