National Sales Assistant

National Sales Assistant supports the General Sales Manager and National Accounts Manager by coordinating and maintaining all functions of the Sales Department. This role ensures that national, political, and promotional sales orders are executed accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent communication and organizational support to internal teams and external partners.

• Execute and maintain national sales orders through the Wide Orbit traffic system.
• Assist Katz representatives with contracts, invoices, copy, and account inquiries.
• Enter and maintain promotional contracts and paid programming inventory/rates.
• Process political advertising orders, forms, rates, NAB requirements, and maintain the online political public file.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with national accounts and coordinate with Katz offices.
• Maintain organized filing systems for national sales contracts.
• Assist with national accounting adjustments and barter programs.
• Collaborate closely with the traffic department to resolve contract or scheduling issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree (preferred).
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn systems such as Wide Orbit and Strata.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle confidential materials, and maintain professionalism.
• Previous experience in administrative support or sales support (preferred).

This position does not supervise others. It requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to supporting sales operations.
