Early Childhood - Infant Teacher

Summary

We are seeking a dependable, energetic person to care for our babies. Experience with working with several babies at once is essential.

7 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

• Caring for babies' basic needs, such as diapering, feeding, etc.
• Interacting with babies with developmentally appropriate activities, play, and showing them love.
• Recording babies' daily actions.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary nursery.
• Communicating with staff and families.

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Proof of high school completion.
• Dependability and strong work ethic.
• Experience with babies.
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
• Complete DHS required trainings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills.
• High energy and ability to work well with others (staff, children, parents) and foster a team environment.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain through provided training.
• Physical ability to use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels; may also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• Vision requirements: ability to see up close and to a certain distance, see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Provide verifiable references.
• Non-smoker.
