Job SummaryThe Clinical Resource Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the overall education, development, and training of clinical staff through collaboration with the Clinical Administrator, Director, and Clinical Staff Leaders. The Coordinator conducts individual and group staff educational programs, including orientation, in‑services, workshops, and development of educational materials, and participates in outreach education as requested. The Coordinator provides hands‑on training, evaluates competency, performs clinical care when necessary, works independently and in collaboration with other health care providers, and coordinates area‑specific quality processes.

Required:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (exception with CNO approval).
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education.
Required:
• Three years of clinical experience.
Preferred:
• Five years department‑specific experience (highly recommended).
• Prior experience as an educator.
Required:
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) completed prior to starting work and maintained thereafter.
Preferred:
• Certification in area of specialty.
• BLS Instructor.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor.
The Clinical Resource Coordinator may also include direct and indirect patient care. The scope of the position includes assisting with nursing services orientation, the Nurse Residency program, development and coordination of the annual credentialing process, and assistance in education and evaluation of new products. The Coordinator designs and implements in‑services and educational programs for Erlanger staff and other health care providers, evaluates staff competency in collaboration with department leadership, and demonstrates ability to educate adult learners.
The Coordinator must also interpret patient‑specific information to provide appropriate care as described in unit policies and procedures.
Regular, part‑time (2 days per week).
