Part-Time (.40 FTE) This part-time position is available immediately and will continue through the end of the 2026–27 school year. While staffing needs for 2027–28 are still being determined, there may be an opportunity for continued employment, potentially with an expanded teaching schedule. POSITION OVERVIEW To provide academic instruction in two sections of Physical Science 8 Honors, alongside our dedicated upper school community, in alignment with our mission and towards the ends of our Graduate Profile. The class schedule is:  Monday & Wednesday: 1:55 - 3:20 pm Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 - 10:25 am Friday: 9:06 - 9:52 am and 2:34 - 3:20 pm There are occasional variations in the school year due to schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Academic Instruction
1. Implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school’s curriculum.
2. Engage students at their point of need.
3. Use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materials that reflect understanding of the needs of students and the nature of the content and skills.
4. Conduct assessment of student learning, both formative and summative.
5. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for spiritual, physical, and social development of students, aimed towards an outcome of purpose, dignity, agency, empathy, communal spirit, and responsible action in students.
6. Structure the physical and digital environments (classroom and Canvas course page) in an organized, intentional manner that promotes effective learning and instruction.
