Structural Engineer; PE or SE

This is an exciting, hands‑on Structural Engineer (PE or SE) opportunity in Chattanooga, TN with a well‑established construction firm serving the region for over 40 years. As a field‑engineer you will work directly with superintendents, inspect structural problems, draw up engineered repair plans, and see projects through to completion.

• Must hold a current PE or SE license (any state, TN preferred or able to obtain)
• Willingness to get dirty, crawl into buildings, and inspect homes and structures
• Draft structural repair drawings and provide stamped plans for residential and commercial projects
• Work closely with superintendents and contractors on job sites
• Investigate structural issues such as walls, beams, and footings and develop engineering solutions
• Interest in growing within the company and taking on greater responsibility over time
• Minimal experience required—on‑the‑job training provided by experienced leadership
• Flexible 40‑hour Monday‑Friday schedule with fieldwork and client interaction

Base pay: $60,000 – $85,000 per year. Additional compensation: annual bonus at 10‑14% of salary depending on company profits.
