To address the increasing demand for effective water filtration and stormwater pollutant removal, our dedicated Komline‑Aqua Shield engineering team designs and delivers integrated product solutions that exceed today’s evolving water quality standards. The Director of Stormwater Technology will play a critical role in driving innovation and leading the development of advanced stormwater treatment solutions under their direct management responsibility for the Aqua‑Swirl, Aqua‑Filter, and Aqua‑Ponic product lines. Of their duties, they will oversee the full product lifecycle including strategy, roadmap development, feature definition, engineering updates, market positioning, and pricing. Collaborating closely across departments, the Director will balance technical innovation with regulatory compliance to ensure commercial success and maintain leadership in the stormwater treatment market.

and Responsibilities
  • Create the product vision and define success criteria for new product lines and growth opportunities
  • Formulate strategic plans to drive significant revenue growth within targeted market segments
  • Generate and maintain product line market maps
  • Develop business cases for product extensions and enhancements
  • Understand product technology applications to address specific customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to incorporate customer feedback into product designs, ensuring new solutions meet both technical‑and‑commercial needs, while also supporting the sales organization through product knowledge to drive revenue growth
  • Assist in forecasting market conditions and sales to support manufacturing operations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving regulatory landscapes to continuously improve existing product lines and identify opportunities for new solutions
  • Leverage product, market, and competitive insights to recommend pricing strategies for new products
  • Take overall responsibility for the product lifecycle, including justification for prototype designs, collaboration with development engineering and customers to define specifications, product launch, ongoing modifications, market positioning, pricing updates, delivery, and manufacturing performance
  • Deliver presentations on product lines to both internal audiences (e.g., sales teams) and external customers
  • Participate in testing and validation of new products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM) and securing regulatory approvals (e.g., NJCAT verification)
  • Develop comprehensive product documentation, including design specifications, test results, regulatory submissions, and marketing materials
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral such as website and catalog content, product releases, brochures, advertisements, and webinars
  • Design and apply TAM (Total Available Market) models to identify growth potential and implement strategies to increase market share
